* * *  NOTE:  I just realized that I had "2020" on all the previous posts for this year.  I guess I could say I was technically correct, since I preset them while it was still 2020.  But, in reality, it was my dumb fingers working fast than my even dumber brain...  I went back and fixed it. * * *

😱 😩 😀

Figure Drawing for January 1, 2021

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

First, a moment to say "Thanks" to everyone who has taken a few moments to stop by and gawk at my modest Blog.  It is all much appreciated!  COVID-19 stepped in and changed things with the past 6 months being scans from my various sketchbooks, so that changed the nature of the Blog a bit.  Hopefully, we will be able to go back to Figure Drawing live and in-person by Summer, give-or-take.  As always, we shall see...

Happy New Year!
Here's to hoping a New Year sweeps clean!

This is a painting from a year or two ago, which now seems especially fitting for 2020.  No, I didn't have the model wear the gas mask (or wings); I just painted it over her face on the painting.  :-)

"Annihilation Angel"

This was done with gouache on 12" x 18" Stonehenge paper.
