10 Minute Pose
For this one, I was so focused on trying to get the shadows of the face correct that I completely ran out of time to do anything else. So, this looks extra-unfinished--to the point where I almost didn't post it; it looks like a floating head on a pillow. Great shades of Salome!
Oh, well, I suppose it's good to see the pictures that don't work all that well as we actually do learn a lot from our mistakes... and I sure do make a LOT of 'em. Sigh... :-)
This was done with charcoal and white chalk on 9" x 11" Strathmore 500 charcoal paper.
